No one knew his real

In truth, Z.W.E.I. was
a hunted man, on the run from assassins sent by Graf Dumas of Hungary. He had
dared to interfere with Dumas' purge of the malfested, a witch hunt that
falsely accused and executed innocent people. But Z.W.E.I.'s life was about to
change. He rescued a fortune teller named Viola
who possessed inhuman powers like his own, and the pair became traveling
companions. Continuing his journey while protecting Viola from Dumas'
assassins proved difficult, but Siegfried found the two fugitives and took
them in under his protection. Out of gratitude, Z.W.E.I. agreed to Siegfried's
request: he would find a successor worthy of Soul Calibur. Would Z.W.E.I.,
too, find his destiny changed by the clash of the two great swords?

ZWEI's appearance, I was assuming he'd be a villain in SC5... but the story suggests
he's more of an anti-hero. In any case, he has a badass charisma about
him, even though his storyline wasn't really fleshed out in the game. Although
his fighting style is a bit
Soul Calibur, his moveset is incredibly original and definitely brings the badass
factor. His "cool guy" mannerisms also define him as a design.
Both his 1P & 2P costumes are badass and suit his style very
well. On that note, his play-style is really unlike any other character from the fighting game
universe (outside of Jojo's
Bizarre Adventure)... which is why he's my main in SC5. He's an
incredibly fun and dynamic character once you master him.. I'd return to SC5
just to play as ZWEI. He's that fun to use.
In case you haven't noticed, ZWEI pretty much uses a "stand" a la Jojo's
Bizarre Adventure. Also, his disembodied wolf ghost/friend
interestingly resembles Unknown's from Tekken Tag Tournament.
And finally, something about him also reminds me of Lars
from Tekken, another one of my favorite fighting game characters. Go
