Garou: Mark of the Wolves 2 Unofficial Mock-up Created by Streets of Rage 4 Artists

As you might know, a direct sequel to Garou: Mark of the Wolves was in development by SNK in the early 2000's, but the project was (sadly) canceled. Many years later, unfinished 2D character sprites from MOTW2 surfaced, unveiling several new character designs who were planned for the sequel. Two artists from Lizardcube Games (Streets of Rage 4, Wonderboy: The Dragon's Trap) recently created a fan-made mockup for Garou: MOTW2 — which includes one of the cancelled characters planned for the sequel. Check out the full-size mockup artwork below and scroll down to see the full time-lapse video of its creation.

Here's the famous image revealing the close-to-final 2D sprites from the cancelled Garou: Mark of the Wolves 2. Most of the newcomers weren't given official names by SNK... but "Boss Fur" seems appropriate enough for big dude on the right.

Below, watch the time-lapse video from Lizardcube showing the full creation process of their Garou: MOTW2 mock-up. As you can see in the beginning of the video, one of their first stops in creating this Garou MOTW2 mock-up artwork was none other than Rock's TFG profile and GIF pages via FightersGeneration.com.
