PlayStation 5 Will Have 4 USB Ports, Accessories, Launch Price & Release Date Revealed

Although no fighting games have been announced for PS5 just yet, many fans are already gearing up for a new generation of gaming. (Pre-orders for PS5 are now live at various retailers!) When details on PlayStation 5 were first announced earlier this year, fighting game tournament organizers & participants were initially concerned about the lonely, single USB port located on the front of the system (which would obviously create a major issue for events that require 2 players to plug in controllers). Thankfully, it's been confirmed that PS5 will be equipped with a total of 4 USB ports (3 USB A ports and 1 USB-C port), making the system tournament-ready when the time comes for in-person competitions once again. As you can see in the image directly below, there are 2 additional high-speed USB ports located on the back of the system.

PlayStation 5 officially launches November 12th, 2020 in the U.S.A., Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. For all other regions, Sony's new console launches on November 19th.
