This Week's Street Fighter V Profile Artwork & Character Bios

It's time once again to return to the CFN Portal to catch up on Capcom's latest Street Fighter V's character bios and profile artwork for the current roster. This time, take a look at the official SFV bios for Laura, Rashid, F.A.N.G., Rainbow Mika and Vega! Introduction: Here she is, Miss Rainbow Mika! She's a rookie in the female pro wrestling circuit. Her real name is Mika Nanakawa.

Bio: A female pro wrestler with strong aspirations, looking up to the teacher of her heart, Zangief. She receives a request from her sponsor, Karin, and stands up against Shadaloo. She speaks in a casual manner, befitting of a gym girl like herself.

It might be difficult to tell her facial expressions when she's wearing the mask, but she's actually pretty emotional. The "younger people with no manners" part refers to her first meeting with Ibuki, where they immediately got off on the wrong foot and never managed to see eye to eye, but despite that, they ended up infiltrating Shadaloo's base together.

Introduction: A jiu-jutsu practitioner who can emit electricity and has her hair combed in this particular style!

Bio: She's Sean's older sister and a grappling friend of Zangief's. She's a very free spirit, with a wild side, who enjoys looking for thrills more than anything. She rarely returns home to her family, instead traveling around all over the place. Sean doesn't really like Laura much, but it's not like Laura doesn't respect these feelings, it's more that the very possibility has never even entered her head.

Her main characteristics are her voluptuous body and her extravagant fighting moves, and is very open to strangers even after just meeting them. She's a very cheerful and impulsive person, befitting of a Southern American. She's the successor to the Matsuda Style Jiu-Jutsu (or was supposed to be anyway), so she develops her moves in actual battle against any competitors she can find in order to spread the word of Matsuda Jiu-Jutsu.

Introduction: Ooh, finally, one of our four kings. It's Master Vega. His hair is so smooth.

Bio: He has a very personal sense of aesthetics, and is a violent narcissist who adores himself. He fights to search for beauty, and to eliminate ugliness. Within his intelligence, you can also glimpse madness. He uses Spanish Ninjutsu, and is a specialist at attacks from the air. His life philosophy is "beauty is absolute", and notices the connection between Cammy and Decapre, and tries to draw out further beauty from them.

Introduction: The main character of the game's general story. He's a youngster who uses his swiftness to his advantage, and is capable of controlling the wind.

Bio: He's a modernistic young man who prefers to remain efficient and smart rather than getting worked up about things. His carefree personality is reflected in his parkour-ish fighting style, but behind his casual way of talking hides a serious intent to carry out his friend's dying wish. He's obsessed with collecting all kinds of latest gadgets and new things.

Introduction: He's the number 2 of our organization (which I almost forgot...) Shadaloo! The expert of deadly poisons, Master F.A.N.G!

Bio: He's self-proclaimed former royalty of a ruined country, and has been appointed as a new member of Shadaloo's Four Kings. He douses his own hands in poison, and uses it to fight. His adoration for M. Bison and will to contribute to Shadaloo puts him at the very center of the Black Moon plan. Because of this, he saw red when Rashid's friend betrayed them and finished them with his poison.

Normally, he speaks like somewhat of a buffoon, but that is nothing more than an act, and there are moments when his face will show you a hint of his true abilities. He considers 2 to be his lucky number, and is obsessed with it in all situations.

Name: Necalli

Introduction: Scary! He thrashes around with movements of wild rage! Does he have some sort of connection to the Satsui no Hado?

Bio: He moves with the objective of consuming strong people's souls. He corrupts the spirit of those he touches with his ominous aura, and people are affected through just being near him (though this is not something Necalli deliberately causes). Those corrupted by Necalli become like himself, wild beings seeking to consume strong souls.

When "the time of the hunt" draws near, he awakens, and moves to where he can sense battles taking place, in order to consume souls. The overwhelming force of Necalli when he consumes an opponent's soul is so jarring that anyone who witnesses it becomes frozen with incredible fear. Normally, he speaks regular languages, though with some difficulty, but once he loses himself, his true strength and horror speak for him.

Introduction: With the world in grave peril, she judges Shadaloo as an enemy of the Kanzuki family and decides to oppose them.

Bio: She is a highly prideful, strong female martial artist who declares herself the winner in advance, and at the same time the head of the Kanzuki family corporation which has international prominence. She considers herself an enemy of Shadaloo, and becomes something of a center for the rest of the fighters to gather around, to battle M. Bison. She's very prideful, which can be seen as arrogance from other people's perspective, but she is not an unfeeling person, and will rush to their aid if anyone she truly cares about is in peril. Or, she will send her right-hand-man, the super butler Shibasaki, in her place.

Introduction: To commemorate our 100th profile post, we've got the main character himself, Ryu. It really couldn't be anyone but him, right?

Bio: Aiming to become a "true martial artist", he travels the world - he's the series' main character. After noticing that he had the Satsui no Hado, a power rooted in darkness, inside of him he's been meditating hard to try and confront it. Just what will Ryu awaken to during his battle against the ancient warrior Necalli, who consumes souls of the strong?!

Introduction: This is our main character Ryu's eternal rival, Ken.

Bio: By gaining his own family that supports him, he's grown even stronger. Since he's at the very top of a huge American corporation, he has very little grief and is a bright person. In this title, he accepts the call from Karin Kanzuki and works to stop the Black Moon plan from proceeding, all the while maintaining his promise to have a rematch with Ryu, who is currently struggling to overcome the Satsui no Hado that has infected him.

Introduction: The original heroine of Street Fighter! "Hmph, all men kneel before me!!"

Bio: After her father was killed by M. Bison, she dedicated herself to bringing down Shadaloo. She's an investigator for the ICPO who fights with magnificent kicks. All the while working her regular cases, she kept chasing the shadow of Shadaloo until she eventually grouped up with Guile to try and find the truth behind the organization. When she managed to discern that the Black Moon plan and the multiple missing hacker cases were connected to Shadaloo, she dives into battle against Shadaloo and their Black Moon plan.

Introduction: A russian hero, the Red Cyclone! His upperclassman at college was Gorbachev himself.

Bio: He's a huge pro wrestler, with the alias "Red Cyclone". He looks strong and honestly scary, but he's big-hearted and has a very kind personality. He has a personal philosophy that muscles are the supreme, and as he advances in age, his muscles keep advancing as well.

He's idolized by R. Mika, and is acquianted with Laura, as well as Rashid's butler Azam. While participating in a wrestling event in New York together with R. Mika and Alex, the Black Moon event occured and he was one of the warriors contacted by Karin to try and bring down Shadaloo.

Introduction: The miracle of India, a Yoga Master. He often serves as a discussion partner to the other fighters.

Bio: Through vigorous training, he draws ever closer to divinity. He's an Indian training sage and a yoga master. Through the miracle of yoga, he is able to extend his arms and legs, and borrows the power of the fire god Agni to create flame-based illusions. As one who has exceeded regular humanity, he tries to help Ryu overcome his doubts.

Through the arrival of Necalli, who only shows up when the world is facing a crisis, he predicts the current strife the world faces and works together with Karin and the others to stop the Black Moon plan.

Name: Charlie Nash

Introduction: A resurrected avenger! How cool. He can teleport, and absorb projectiles ... Man, I want those abilities, too.

Bio: Guile's best friend, and when he was still alive, a first lieutenant in the Air Force. He lost his life once, but for some reason he is back, and moves with the singular goal of killing M. Bison. He used to be cool, though a bit of an egghead, with a very strong sense of justice and an incredibly warm personality, but after facing betrayal he can no longer trust anyone but himself. He has lost both his former cool head and his warmness, and is obsessed with nothing but revenge, leaving him with a very cold personality.
