Instinct 10th Anniversary Edition Now Available, Update 3.11 Patch

at EVO 2023 this past August, Iron Galaxy
and Microsoft announced a 10th Anniversary balance update for the
fast-paced competitive hit 2D fighter, Killer
Instinct (2013).
In addition to the announced character balance overhaul, the Killer
Instinct (2013) 10th Anniversary update includes a new user interface,
updated character select screen, and the the ability for the game to run
at 1440p on Xbox Series S and in 4K on Xbox Series X. The
Steam version also now includes a free-to-play version, with 1 free
rotating playable character each week which cycles through the full roster
of 29 fighters.
For
players interested in jumping back into the "updated and
streamlined" competition of Killer Instinct, Iron Galaxy
released the full patch
notes for Killer Instinct's 10th Anniversary update (3.11)
on Ultra-Combo.com. On Xbox and PC, "Killer Instinct Definitive
Edition" has now been retired from the store and replaced by Killer
Instinct Anniversary Edition.

Additional
content is live in the Steam version of Killer Instinct Anniversary
Edition, including "Permanent VIP XP Booster" and
"Golden God and Argent Shroud Colors" for Gargos.

update for 1997's Virtua Fighter 3tb (the "tb" in the title
standing for Team Battle). The Team Battle mechanic was an update to the arcade
version and later was an individual release on Sega Dreamcast in 1999.
