developer Saizensen is working on a new 2D fighting game called Blade
Strangers. This anime-style 2D fighter features characters from
Cody of Princess, Cave Story and Umihara Kawase. So far
the game has 10 playable fighters and the characters are made with 3D
models but meant to look 2D. Special moves are done with "easy
inputs," making the game very accessible to beginners. Blade
Strangers is planned for release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4,
Xbox One, and Steam in Q4 2017.
