Raven, an International
intelligence organization operative, is rumored to be the best and most
cruel agent. None of his background information such as his nationality,
age or history is clear. Nothing is known about Raven except that he has
an X scar on his face. He witnessed Heihachi
Mishima being terminated by the self-destruct explosion attack of 'Jack
Force' in his investigation towards Mishima Zaibatsu and G Company. After
that, The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5 was announced by someone. Raven
decided to enter the tournament and find out the hidden truth behind the
tournament.
During The King of
the Iron Fist Tournament 5, Raven encounters Heihachi Mishima, who was
presumed to be dead... They began to fight. Before a victor could be decided,
Raven received orders to return to headquarters and had to withdraw from
battle. After that encounter the battle between both the Mishima Zaibatsu
and G-Corporation intensified. In order to prevent any further losses,
Raven is sent to investigate the Mishima Zaibatsu once again.
Master Raven took his place in Tekken 7.

So Heihachi Mishima...
wasn't dead... after all. It's okay Wesley Snipes, we still love you. Raven
debuted as a cool "modern ninja" in Tekken 5 and made a pretty big splash when he arrived. Worth pointing out, there
also aren't many Black ninja characters out there in the fighting game world, making Raven a pretty
original design from get-go. His attire is also original, and pretty damn cool
if you ask me (not
to mention he has some badass customizations). If you haven't noticed, Raven
is much more than just a Wesley Snipes look-alike.
For a new Tekken design, Raven delivered. Raven's moveset packs over 120 unique moves & animations (which aren't
shared or borrowed from other characters). He also brings a few ridiculous
"teleporting" moves to the series,
which some fighting game "purists" may not appreciate so much. However, his fighting style adds
diversity to the
roster, and also should remind "Tekken critics" that Namco obviously
isn't going for total realism in Tekken. So how does he make shadow
clones of himself anyway? ... damn those tricky mirrors. lol.
