Kisarah Westfield

BIO:

Kisarah Westfield is a popular girl who attends a Japanese high school. Her family is originally from England. Kisarah ends up falling in love with Joe Kusanagi, and chases him to coerce Joe into being her boyfriend since he made a childhood promise to her. She tries everything she can to make him notice her, and eventually enters the tournament in Aggressors of Dark Kombat. In her ending, her wish is granted and they become a couple. She is the only female fighter in Aggressors of Dark Kombat, and the only character from her series to appear in other games.

Kisarah's eerily quiet fighting game debut in Aggressors of Dark Kombat (that game title still makes me laugh) did not help her become a popular character. However, she is one of the most compelling and visually appealing characters from that obscure SNK game, and she made some interesting cameos in future SNK games. Visually, she's a typical-looking Japanese schoolgirl that you might see in 90% of anime  — her most interesting attribute being that she's non-Japanese.

When SNK brought her back as a rather unexpected new character in NeoGeo Battle Coliseum, she got a cool new KOF-style 2D sprite with nice animations. Kisarah's design was reimagined, now fighting with her school bag. Combined with her cool kicks, she's a neat 2D fighting game character. The gal is flexible! Needless to say, she looks way cooler in NGBC over her original appearance.
