A samurai seemed
like a perfect fit for a medieval weapon-based fighting game, although the time
periods might not all work out perfectly. Takeshi is a faithful traditional samurai design
for the most part, and has a cool flair about him. The designers did a
surprisingly good job with his animation for the time. He's certainly no Mitsurugi,
but Takeshi's Japanese swordsmanship is
convincing enough. His finishing move was also pretty
satisfying.... Samurai Shodown style ftw.
