BlazBlue: Central Fiction PS5
Version Announced, Includes Rollback, New Training Mode
|
|
|
|
 Arc
System Works announced a native PlayStation 5 port for BlazBlue:
Central Fiction, breathing fresh life into the beloved fighting
game alongside a suite of long-awaited community features. Scheduled to
launch following the upcoming "TRINITY -PHASE 3-" update, the
PS5 version will add rollback netcode and crossplay
capabilities linking console players directly with the PC (Steam) player base. New Training mode features are also in
development (details coming soon) and the PS5 port introduces localized text support for four new languages (French, Italian,
German, and Spanish).
This
technical rollout goes hand-in-hand with major content additions, most
notably the inclusion of Trinity Glassfille
as the game's first brand-new playable fighter since Jubei's
debut in 2017. While Trinity's character update is slated for the existing
PlayStation 4 and PC versions, these combined announcements signal an
unexpected and exciting renaissance for the classic fighter. Developer
updates indicate that further details regarding official release dates,
new training mode specifics, and platform transition paths will follow in
the near future. Stay tuned on The Fighters Generation for
updates and continued coverage.
