	Fighting EX Layer Updated to Ver. 1.3.0, Area Released, Patch Notes

  

Today, Arika is rolling out their 1.3.0 patch for Fighting EX Layer on PS4 and Steam. The update adds the final announced DLC character Area to the roster, along with a new Online Spectator Mode, improvements to netplay matches, game balancing and bug fixes. Additionally, Arika posted some new Area gameplay on their YouTube channel along with some new screenshots (below).   Backstory: Area is a genius inventor, but she still hasn't noticed her own lack of design sense. "Why aren't my inventions famous?" Area decides to investigate the famous inventor Baruba Puruna's in order to answer this question, but becomes entangled with a mysterious girl along the way.     Fighting EX Layer - Version 1.3.0 Patch Notes Character Changes Additional Characters: Area *Area does not have any Expert Mode challenges. Improvements to Netplay Matches The Netplay has been improved, along with additions and adjustments to the UI. New Online Mode added for Testing. A mode that allows you to spectate matches (Spectator Mode) has been added. *For PS4 and Steam versions only. Spectator Mode (In Testing) This mode allows a Player to create a Lobby and spectate the matches of other Players who join. Game Balancing The input for Shirase, Sanane, and Hokuto’s special move 「 Ryuusui 」 has been standardized, and the startup has increased.
