	First Look at Final SFV Season 5 Character, Luke

  

Following Capcom's gameplay presentation of Akira Kazama and Oro during the Summer Update 2021 stream, Director Takayuki Nakayama and Producer Shuhei Matsumoto surprised the community by revealing the fifth and final new character of Street Fighter V Season 5, Luke. What we know so far: Luke is an American mixed martial artist / kickboxer with speedy attacks and has the ability to throw rapid fiery projectiles with his punches. He is described by Nakayama as a character who will "give us a glimpse into the future" and "will be expanding the world of Street Fighter." Matsumoto added, "We feel strongly that Luke will be a great addition to the game, and that he has a bright future in the world of Street Fighter."   What that means exactly is up for speculation at this point... but judging from the developers' comments, we'll likely be seeing Luke appear in future installments of the series such as the long-rumored Street Fighter 6.
