Whip is one of the few KOF characters that uses a weapon... I guess using an incredibly long-range weapon is suddenly 100% fair game in KOF tournaments? I call shenanigans... lol. Whip even pulls out a freakin' gun and fires it during one of super moves... Get outta herrrre. While she's kinda cheap and her name might lack originality, Whip is a very memorable female fighter in KOF. Worth noting, it's nice to see a fighting game female not ultra-sexualized to get attention. Much respect to this classy lady here. Also, Whip's original 2D sprite animation in KOF '99 and onwards was some of SNK's best work to date and really made a statement at the time. The majority of her moves are also well designed.

Her epic return in King of Fighters XIV looks excellent so far! She definitely deserves to come back, and yaaaay she finally gets a new "sprite"! ^_^
