Bridget is a well educated boy of a wealthy family, secretively brought up as a girl since it was a belief in his village that male twins would bring bad fortune. His parents having a sore heart since they couldn't bring him up as a boy, Bridget tries his best to show them that he is happy in life, but despite the sunny personality he grew from all his efforts, it was obvious that his parents felt more pain the more he looked happy under his current situation. Bridget figures out that the only real solution is to go to the root of the problem, which would be for him to live as a man, and bring enough fortune to the village to disprove the jinx, and decides to go after a bounty he sees in a poster.

Bridget has a lot of personality. Bridget also looks like no other fighting game character. That's usually a good thing when introducing a new character design... and that's exactly what the Guilty Gear series is known for. That said, Bridget fits right in.

At first glance, most people can't tell if Bridget is a he or she. Yeah... he's one of "those" Japanese character designs. lol. In some ways Bridget is a cool design, but in other ways Bridget is an awkward design. I'm not going to explain the details on this one. Just look at some of that weird Daisuke artwork.  0__o

On the bright side, Bridget's yo-yo based fighting style is quite entertaining, and has it's cool moments. The animation is ridiculous! And that's what matters most really... (even though I'm not a huge fan of the visual design). However, as an overall character design, Bridget is a bit too strange to compliment Guilty Gear's overall style. In my opinion, there are far better designs in the GG series. ;) So what's with the evil teddy bears anyway? :/ lol
