Lien Neville

Ever since she can remember, Lien has undergone special training and been reared in the ways of being as "assassin." The syndicate she was a part of was destroyed by the underworld's largest syndicate, "Addis', and she lost many comrades.

Swearing to single-handedly battle "Addis" to the death. Lien went into hiding. She failed to eliminate Duke, the boss of "Mephistopheles", a syndicate subordinate to "Addis", and, in an ironic twist of fate, found herself recruited by her would-be target who realized the worth of her abilities. She is currently employed by Duke to penetrate Addis's inner sanctum.

In the OVA "Another Day," Lien makes an appearance on Geese Howard's tower, supposedly waiting for Rock Howard in order to assassinate him. However, she meets Billy Kane and is almost killed in the process. She is saved by Rock, who she works with in order to incapacitate Billy. Lien decides to spare him, although she says that she could still kill him if he so wishes.

The King of Fighters: Maximum Impact

The King of Fighters: Maximum Impact MANIAX, KOF: Maximum Impact 2, KOF: Maximum Impact Regulation A, SNK Vs. Capcom: Card Fighters Clash DS

Lien's visual design isn't too bad... although she didn't wow me when she was first revealed in KOF: Maximum Impact. I for one have seen several other Japanese female characters with her blatantly sexualized outfit design.

Lien also reminds me of Nina Williams from TEKKEN. There are a few cool aspects about her appearance and moveset, but in my opinion, she's fairly boring and underdeveloped when compared to other SNK / KOF heroines. Lien's moveset and overall persona did improve in KOF 2006 (MI2) at least.
