Queen Bee

BIO:

She is the leader of the Soul Bee race, a race that eats souls to live. Q-Bee stands for Queen Bee, which is her title, not her name. The Soul Bee race lived in the lands of the Dohma family. But during the time when Jedah was dead, her home began to crumble and her race was on the verge of dying out. When Jedah was revived and created the Majigen, she notices the vast amount of souls in the new dimension. She heads towards the Majigen to gather souls to satisfy her Soul Bee's hunger and to satisfy her own hunger as well. Apparently the orbs in her hair are actually her real eyes, and the "eyes" on her face are there only to make her look more human.

The Darkstalkers series quickly became known for its characters based off of horror stereotypes... but who's ever heard of a bee-girl? Well, bee's are actually pretty damn scary (wasps are worse) so it makes sense. With Queen Bee, Capcom set out to create yet another completely original design for the series... and they succeeded for the most part. As a 2D fighting game character, Q-Bee introduces a ton of unique moves and mannerisms that only a Darkstalkers character could pull off.

There's definitely something cool about Q-Bee, although she's not quite as eye-catching or exciting as some of the other personalities from Darkstalkers. She is a mysteriously cool design though... but perhaps a bit under-developed in the storyline and overall as a character. She had a lot of potential and probably would've developed nicely, but the Darkstalkers series didn't progress much after DS3. I'm kinda surprised Q-Bee  didn't make it to any crossover games (but kinda not surprised they went with Morrigan, Felicia & Hsien-Ko for the Marvel Versus series). That said, I could definitely see Q-Bee fitting in with the X-Men / Marvel universe.
