Guilty Gear -STRIVE- Coming to Xbox in Spring 2023, Cross Platform Beta Taking Place October 13th

In Arc System Works' press release today, the company confirmed Guilty Gear -STRIVE-'s cross-platform beta test will take place October 13th through October 16th. Users will have to download a separate application from the game itself to participate in the beta. The test will feature online multiplayer between players on PS5, PS4, and Steam. Anyone can participate in the crossplay open beta — even if they haven't purchased the game! Additionally, Arc System Works recently confirmed -STRIVE- is coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One sometime in Spring 2023, and the Xbox version will be crossplay compatible at launch.

The upcoming open beta will include 21 playable fighters, including the latest DLC characters. Available modes in the beta include: Online, Verus COM, Versus 2P, Training, Tutorial, Survival, Mission, Combo Maker, Digital Figure, and Gallery.

In the press release today, Arc System Works confirmed that Guilty Gear -STRIVE- for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One will be cross-platform compatible with the PC and PlayStation versions of the game at release in Spring 2023.

Arc System Works also noted that users on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will be able to access the crossplay beta without a PlayStation Plus subscription. Once again, the beta is free to download and try out even if you don't own Guilty Gear -STRIVE-. For more information, visit Arc System Works' official website.
