Athena Asamiya Announced for King of Fighters XV

 SNK has revealed
Athena Asamiya as the latest playable character of The King of Fighters XV. Athena has appeared in every major KOF installment to date and, in true Athena fashion, shows off her brand new outfit in SNK's upcoming 2.5D fighter. Athena previously appeared in KOF14, so
returning fans can expect her to retain much of her moveset from the prequel. Additionally, today's trailer solidifies another official KOF15 team... Athena joins
Mai Shiranui and
Yuri Sakazaki to form "Team Super Heroine". Watch Athena's official reveal trailer and check out 8 new KOF XV screenshots below.
