15 Team Southtown Preview

 Team
Southtown was previously revealed as the second Team DLC coming to The
King of Fighters XV. Later this month, Geese
Howard, Billy Kane,
and Ryuji Yamazaki will join KOF XV's roster, bringing the total
number of playable characters up to 44. We still have no word on an exact
release date for the 3 new characters, but we may be getting that info
very soon (and possibly tomorrow). Tonight, SNK confirmed that
YouTuber Maximilian Dood will be hosting a special preview of KOF XV's
Team Southdown on May 12th. The stream will be live Thursday, May 12th
(7:00pm PT) on
Maximilian's Twitch channel (twitch.tv/maximilian_dood)
and will run for about 2 hours, as announced
by Max himself in his tweet below.
On a related note,
Maximilian Dood uploaded a video yesterday regarding KOF 15's
broken matchmaking system — which has been an unfortunate
issue of the game's online mode since launch. In short, we still have no
word or clarification from SNK on when KOF 15's matchmaking will be
fixed. Watch Max's video (below) about the subject for more.

Following the arrival of Team Southtown, two more (unannounced) Teams of 3
characters each will be added to the game this coming Summer and Autumn

& Omega Rugal Join KOF XV

Last month, SNK announced iconic
KOF series boss Rugal Bernstein, in his "Omega" form, will be
joining The King of
Fighters XV as free DLC. Alongside new playable character Omega Rugal, SNK
confirmed new mode "Boss Challenge" will be added to the game on
Thursday April 14th, 2022.
