Street Fighter x Nyanko Great War 2020 Crossover Adds New Fighters from SFV: Champion Edition

  

Over the past several years, we've seen some unexpected yet exciting crossovers happen in mobile titles, including: The King of Fighters x TEKKEN, WWE x KOF and most recently, Guilty Gear x KOF. Back in November 2019, Street Fighter V characters made guest appearances in the hilarious / bizarre cat-themed Japanese Tower Defense game, Nyanko Daisensou (Nyanko Great War) published by PONOS. The upcoming November 2020 update for the crossover adds even more characters from Street Fighter V: Champion Edition, including: E. Honda, Sagat, Vega, and Balrog. The game now features all 12 of the original World Warriors (all based on their SFV: Champion Edition appearances). "The collaboration between Street Fighter V: Champion Edition and Nyanko Great War has been decided! The event will be held from November 22nd, 2020 to November 16th, 2020. A large number of new fighters will participate in the war!?"

 [UPDATE] Not only does the update add playable SFV veterans, but there will also be new SFVCE-themed "battle cat" allies (including those for Vega, Balrog, Bison & Sagat) — complete with their own special attacks based on the four Shadaloo Kings.
