The
Game Awards 2024 Best Fighting Game Nominations
|
|
|
|
 2024
has no doubt been another incredibly exciting year for the fighting genre! The
nominations for the Best Fighting Game category at The Game Awards 2024
have been announced. This year, major contenders include TEKKEN
8, which continues to be a leading game in the competitive and
esports community, as well as Marvel
vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics — the
long-awaited epic
8-game compilation of some of Capcom's best-ever 2D fighting games from
the arcade generation, now with rollback netcode and new features. Other
nominations in the Best Fighting Game category are Granblue
Fantasy Versus: Rising, Multiversus, and Dragon Ball
Sparking: Zero.
In
addition to Best Fighting Game, TEKKEN 8 was also nominated for
Best Multiplayer Game —
quite an impressive feat for a fighting game. You

The
Game
Awards 2024
takes place
Thursday,
December 12th (7:30
pm - 11:00 pm ET).
[UPDATE]
TEKKEN 8 received the most votes and was nominated Best Fighting
