| First Impression: | You crazy Japanese developers... just when I think I can almost "understand" your game's crazy name (and manage to type it fluidly without typos), you hit me with this? Now I have to type that? "CL-R" sounds
like something you put down a drain to unclog it. Those of you who don't know what it's like to be anything like a "gaming journalist" might not understand, but some of us actually have to physically type out ridiculous names of Japanese Doujin fighting games... and it's not always so fun, but here goes...
 Under Night
In-Birth EXE:Late[CL-R] F*ck You Edition R+ XXX. How bout dat?
UNIELCLR? How do you say that? "Under Night In-Birth EXE: Late-Slur?" Cool. If you want my opinion, I think the new title isn't nearly as "catchy" as the prequel's, which did start
to make a name for itself in 2019. So why not a simpler-sounding name change? Really, what is CLR? Something to help old dudes get it up? Ahh shucks... what's in a name? If the game's still good, fans will still play.
Regardless of how you weebs correctly pronounce this game's name in real life, "UNIST-Chicken Lemon Rice" has potential to continue a great indie 2D series that got a nice popularity bump thanks to its EVO '19 appearance (and Melee wasn't even there to see it). Stay tuned for continued coverage and updates!
