Fatal
Fury: City of the Wolves Beta Test Announced, Promotional Video by

 SNK
made two big announcements regarding Fatal
Fury: City of the Wolves.
The first is an Open Beta Test scheduled for February 20
(12:00 am PT) through February 24 (11:59 pm PST) which will give
fans on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Steam a chance to play Fatal Fury: City
of the Wolves early with 8 playable characters. The second
reveal is the announcement of an upcoming Fatal Fury: City of the
Wolves promotional animation video lead by legendary anime director,
Masami Obari. The first images for the upcoming animation confirm
appearances by Terry
Bogard (no surprise there) as well as Fatal
Fury 's iconic main villain, Geese
Howard.
Masami
Obari created
three
Fatal Fury OVAs from December 23rd,
1992, to July 16th,
1994.
He founded
Studio G-1
in 1993 with
fellow animators Kazuto Nakazawa, Masahiro Yamane, Takehiro Nakayama, and
Atsuko Ishida. That said, it's amazing to see the the anime
director return to creating something brand new for the Fatal Fury series
over 30 years after the original Fatal Fury OVA! See some preview

Back
in February 2022, SNK and
Masami Obari released a similar short animated feature for The
King of Fighters XV. Further details about the Fatal Fury: City
of the Wolves animation will be released later on. Fatal
Fury: City of the Wolves
is set to be released April 24th, 2025 on PlayStation
4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Keep it here on The

announcements, including the return of Garou: Mark of the Wolves final
