Kotobukiya Terry Bogard "Fatal Cutie" Bishoujo Statue Preview Photos, Coming Spring 2023

Kotobukiya released the first official preview photos of their upcoming genderbent Terry Bogard bishoujo collection character statue figure. The 1/7 scale PVC bishoujo ("pretty girl") statue based on the artwork by Shunya Yamashita hilariously captures the Garou / Fatal Fury series icon as he (she) appears in  2018's SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy . As you can see in the shiny new photos (below), Terry's hat even says "Fatal Cutie" as it does in the game. The statue will be released in Spring 2023. Pricing has not yet been announced. Scroll down to take a closer look at the first photos of the upcoming statue and its unique base.

In Japanese popular culture, a bishōjo, also romanized as bishojo or bishoujo, is characterized as a "cute" or "pretty girl" character. Kotobukiya is known for turning 100s of popular video game / anime / comic characters into this Shunya Yamashita-influnced bishoujo style in the form of their high-end PVC statues.

Nope, not even the wild wolf Terry Bogard is safe from the "Rule 63" treatment... he's become so famous and popular in recent years, after all, with all his many guest appearances! Makes sense.

One more time, check out the original concept artwork released a few months back from Shunya Yamashita (below), the same artist who also did a full set of character panel illustrations for TEKKEN  Tag Tournament 2 and TEKKEN 7). Hit the links to see Yamashita's art for those games.

Additionally, Kotobukiya shared a new preview photo of their King of Fighters '98: Dream Match Never Ends Mai Shiranui statue, right alongside Shunya Yamashita's character art. Needless to say, Kotobukiya's SNK bishoujo collection is looking mighty nice! This image offers a nice comparison from artwork to finished statue!
