Virtua
Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown Akira Yuki Storm Collectibles Figure
Pre-orders Open
|
|
Back
in October 2021, Storm Collectibles first announced the addition of Virtua
Fighter to their action figure line — which already includes a
long list of fan-favorite characters from the likes of TEKKEN, Mortal Kombat, Street
Fighter, and SNK fighting games. Akira
Yuki is the first Virtua Fighter character figure announced by Storm Collectibles
and the Bajiquan master is now officially
available for pre-order (link below)! Based on his latest appearance in Virtua Fighter
5: Ultimate Showdown, Storm's high-articulating Akira figure
features 3
interchanging head sculpts, 5 pairs of hands, 1 punching
effect accessory and is priced at $87.00 + shipping. Storm Collectibles
will begin shipping the figure in Q3 2022.
AKIRA
YUKI - VIRTUA FIGHTER 5: Ultimate Showdown
After
losing to Kage-Maru in the Fourth World Fighting Tournament, Akira
returned to the mountains to train harder than ever before. He
began to doubt his previous training and could not understand how
he had been defeated. One day he caught sight of a leaf floating
downstream and he held his breath as it spun easily around a
boulder, avoiding it neatly, and continuing on in the flow. He
suddenly understood that he had been resisting the flow and he
resumed his training with renewed confidence. Soon after, he
decided to join the Fifth World Fighting Tournament.
