Capcom 40th Anniversary Art, Capcom Town Teaser

Capcom will be celebrating its 40th anniversary coming up on June 11th, 2023, as the date marks 40 years since the company's founding on June 11th, 1983. On Wednesday, Capcom shared a special illustration that captures and celebrates many of the company's iconic IPs, along with a special message for fans. On social media, Capcom thanked fans and the community for their ongoing support over the years with the slogan, "From Osaka to the world, here's to Capcom's 40th Anniversary!"

As reported earlier, Capcom has opened up a teaser website for Capcom Town — a digital online destination for fans around the world which goes live on June 12th, 2023. Capcom Town will host a variety of interesting and historical content, including a "Virtual Museum" with original artwork and development documents for many classic (and newer) titles. Capcom Town will also feature a "game corner" where visitors can play classic games such as Mega Man and Street Fighter II.
