	Guilty Gear -STRIVE- Season 2 Roadmap Revealed at EVO, New Character Arriving Summer 2022

  

During Arc System Works' EVO 2022 panel, the development team shared an updated roadmap unveiling what's to come in Guilty Gear -STRIVE- Season 2. The dev-team announced that the first new character of Season 2 will debut in Summer 2022, with 3 additional characters joining the roster down the line. New character colors and a free update aiming to reduce input delay on PS5 will also release this Summer. Later on in Fall 2022, the PS4/PS5 crossplay beta test will take place and Season 2's second DLC character will be released. Take a look at the EVO '22 roadmap below! Click or tap the image for a closer look.     As you can see in the third panel, a Battle Balance Patch is planned for Winter 2022. And later in 2023, two more characters and two new stages will be added. None of the four upcoming Season 2 characters have yet been revealed, but EVO '22 is ongoing and we'll keep you updated! Arc System Works also noted that this release schedule is "tentative" and the final release dates are subject to change.
