The King of Fighters: All-Star × Street Fighter Reveal Trailer Hints at Akuma's Arrival

Netmarble dropped the official reveal trailer for The King of Fighters: All-Star × Street Fighter, the mobile game's latest crossover collaboration. Set on a city street, the 30-second trailer begins by paying homage to the introduction of the iconic Street Fighter II: World Warrior, the camera panning down the side of a skyscraper like in the original SF2 intro. After a quick battle between Kyo Kusanagi and Ryu, the end of the trailer hints that Akuma will be the next playable character to be revealed. Pre-registration for the event starts on March 15th, 2022. The six Street Fighter V: Champion Edition guest characters become available in KOF: All-Star starting on March 24th, 2022.

Six characters based on their appearances from Street Fighter V: Champion Edition will join KOF: All-Star as playable characters. Ryu, Chun-Li, and Chun-Li's Street Fighter Alpha "Nostalgia" version are confirmed as the first 3 guest fighters. You can check out the first official character artwork from the crossover inside our previous article.

More details on the crossover will be revealed soon! Stay tuned on Fighters Generation for continued coverage, including more artwork and gameplay videos (coming soon). The King of Fighters: All Star is currently available to download for free on iOS and Android devices. An active PC version beta test is ongoing as well.
