Haohmaru, Nakoruru, Darli Dagger, Shingo Yabuki, and Kim Kaphwan Announced for KOF XV

  

Following the EVO 2022 Top 8 finals for The King of Fighters XV, the game's chief producer Yasuyuki Oda took the stage to drop a new trailer announcing Team Samurai as the game's fourth Team DLC. Samurai Shodown's Haohmaru, Nakoruru, and Darli Dagger will be joining KOF XV in Fall 2022. Additionally, Shingo Yabuki and Kim Kaphwan were announced for KOF XV Season 2, with concept artwork for both upcoming characters being shown, in addition to new crossplay support coming in 2023. Here
are some screenshots from the EVO '22 trailer showing the first concept artwork of Shingo Yabuki and Kim Kaphwan as they will appear in KOF XV.  Shingo Yabuki and Kim Kaphwan will join the game sometime in 2023.
 










 
SNK also shared an updated King of Fighters XV DLC roadmap. Team 4 (Team Samurai Shodown) will join the game in Fall 2022. They will be packaged alongside Team Awakened Orochi's Orochi Chris, Orochi Shermie, and Orochi Yashiro (available August 8th) as Team Pass 2. In related EVO '22 from Friday, SNK shared some new concept art of Team Awakened Orochi.
 




  
Last but not least... it was announced that a new Fatal Fury / Garou fighting game has been greenlit! Although SNK has not revealed any specifics details regarding the project thus far, they did share a Rock Howard concept illustration by Eisuke Ogura (below) along with a teaser trailer.
