The King of Fighters:
All-Star × Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown Crossover
Announced

|
 Netmarble
announced the latest fighting game series crossover coming to their mobile
beat-em-up title, The King of Fighters: All-Star. Joining a
very long list of guest characters from the likes of TEKKEN, Street
Fighter, DOA, and WWE, several of Sega's
iconic characters from Virtua
Fighter 5: Final Showdown will soon become available as playable characters in KOF:
All-Star starting April 25th, 2023, including: Akira
Yuki, Pai Chan,
Sarah Bryant, and
Jacky Bryant. Additionally, players can also unlock retro
versions of Akira and Sarah resembling their historic yet still charming VF1 character models.
It's a bit curious why they went with 2010's
Virtua Fighter 5: Final
Showdown for the crossover instead of promoting Sega's most recent
re-release, Virtua Fighter 5:
Ultimate Showdown (2021), but maybe they just wanted to keep the
integrity of the original arcade version? In any case, check out the official promo
