Capcom Fighters Street Fighter 6 "Metro City Academy" Stream Premieres This Friday


Capcom announced a new stream series called "Metro City Academy" which will focus on Street Fighter 6 content, including character tutorials and in-depth explanations of system mechanics and more. The first Metro City Academy stream premieres this Friday, January 20th, 2023 at 1:00pm (PT) on Twitch and will be hosted by Jeremy "Vicious" Lopez (@ViciousFGC). Street Fighter EVO world champion Justin Wong (@JWonggg) was confirmed as an in-person guest for the first Metro City Academy. Capcom announced their new stream series will feature rotating guests, so you can expect other FGC commentators and players to appear in future streams.

[UPDATE] Thursday evening, Capcom clarified in the reply section to their tweet above that the Metro City Academy stream will be using the Street Fighter 6 build from the previous beta. The playable roster of this build includes Ryu, Chun-Li, Jamie, Luke, Kimberly, Juri Han, Guile, and Ken. That said, we'll have to wait a bit longer to see more gameplay footage of newer revealed characters such as Dee Jay,
Manon, Marisa, and JP.
Once again, the first Metro City Academy stream will go live this Friday, January 20th at 1:00pm (PT) at
