Ghostblade Sneak Peek

in December, Nexon held the first ever public beta for their upcoming
2D fighting game, Dungeon Fighter Duel,
on PS5 and PS4. If you remember correctly, the latest revealed
character class for DNF Duel was Ghostblade. While we've
only seen a short teaser of Ghostblade in previous trailers, Nexon released some
official artwork of the character via social media. According to series
lore, the Ghostblade is described as a unique Slayer that crosses the
boundary between humans and the spirits. "Creating a mortal bond with
a warrior ghost moments before his death, the pale Ghostblade is a ghastly
duo, weaving the Slayer's own deadly slashes with the ghosts' own
attacks."

Added Ghostblade's official gameplay reveal trailer.
The
main character of the ghostly duo is the white-haired swordsman with pale skin,
while the "ghost" part of the design is the menacing beast
standing behind him. The player will have access to special moves that involve
attacks from both characters on the screen, occasionally at the
same time.
In
addition,
below is a clean rendering of the Pirate Ship stage (night) which appears behind
Ghostblade in the above image.

Once
again, Ghostblade and a new Mechanic (female) class were teased in the
most recent Dungeon Fighter Duel gameplay trailer (below).

Nexon also recently
posted some tracks from the DNF Duel OST on their YouTube
channel, offering a nice preview of some of the stages in the game. Dungeon
Fighter Duel is planned for release Summer 2022 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
