2025 Announcement Show

|
|
 The
EVO team announced this week they will be hosting an EVO 2025
announcement show next Tuesday, January 14th (5:00pm PT / 8:00pm
ET). The special program will be streaming live on Twitch
and Evo
Events (YouTube) and the full games lineup for Evolution 2025 will be
officially revealed. Apparently, the final games list of EVO 2025 leaked
online earlier this week by way of an early YouTube video
thumbnail — but out of respect to the EVO team (and for official
confirmation), we won't be sharing the alleged leak in this article. That
said, let's all wait for the EVO team to announce the big news themselves!
In
2024, EVO saw a record-breaking year
in viewership as well as having over 10,000 competitors in attendance.
This broke the record for not only fighting game tournaments and past EVO
events, but for all of eSports! With longstanding community-backed
powerhouses like Street
Fighter 6, TEKKEN
8 and Guilty
Gear -STRIVE- still leading the pack at recent events, 2025
is poised to be yet another groundbreaking year for EVO and the fighting
game community.
Last year, EVO also brought a ton of hype with the inclusion of the
timeless classic, Street
Fighter III: 3rd Strike. With Marvel
vs. Capcom Fighting Collection now available worldwide... will we
be seeing another classic like MVC2
making a big return?

The Evolution Championship
Series 2025 announcement show takes place
on
