 On
Friday, Arc System Works unveiled an updated Guilty Gear
-STRIVE-
DLC roadmap to give fans an idea of what to expect in Season 2.
A new character is confirmed to arrive this Summer, followed by two
newcomers later in 2023. Right before the Guilty Gear -STRIVE- TOP
8 closed out the EVO '22 weekend, series creator Daisuke Ishiwatari took
the stage to drop the first Season 2 trailer for the game. The
trailer confirms Bridget
will finally return to the series in Guilty Gear -STRIVE- and becomes playable
today, August 8th!

Arc System Works also debuted a
new animated music video by animation studio Sanzigen (below), featuring the theme
"Find Your One Way" of the main character of the series: Sol
Badguy. This music video depicts more than 20 years of the world of
Guilty Gear
and half his lifetime! After checking out the second video,

In addition to the new characters, a Battle Balance Patch is
planned for Winter 2022. And later in 2023, two more characters and two

EVO Japan Returns to Tokyo in

It's
been announced that EVO Japan
will return as a live event next year, taking place in Tokyo from March 31st -
April 2nd, 2023. EVO manager Rick Thiher confirmed EVO Japan 2023's main
tournament games will include TEKKEN 7, Guilty Gear -STRIVE-, SFV: Champion Edition,
and KOF XV.
